Top 4 Canadian Credit Cards With Airport Lounge Access (2019)

In this article, I will walk you through the best Canadian credit cards with airport lounge access.

As we dive deep into the topic let’s compare the credit cards and review them in detail. Let’s get started.

What Is Airport Lounge Access?

An airport lounge is a facility operated at many airports. Airport lounges offer, for selected passengers, comforts beyond those afforded in the airport terminal itself, such as more comfortable seating, quieter environments, and often better access to customer service representatives.

Why Do You Need Airport Lounge Access?

While travelling, whether on short or long haul flights lounge access at airports give you the comfort of taking a short nap or for a good hot refreshing meal. With that said, you also have other amenities which is far better than the terminal amenities along with the general public seated there.

Airport lounge access is usually offered to the premium flyers, I mean the one’s who fly frequently or if you are an esteemed customer to the airlines for an upgrade in flight class (you keep flying the same airlines number of times in a year or fly with the same airlines every time – your preferred choice)

To escape this chaotic environment, you can head into airport lounges which are private, offer food, and comfortable seating. Each lounge is different and offers different amenities, but there’s no denying how comfortable they are.

The problem is, normally you need to pay a yearly membership fee of $99 USD and then $32 USD for each visit which is not exactly cheap.

However, if you have credit cards with lounge access, then you could end up paying nothing at all which is the ideal scenario. Before you get to my full list of free airport lounge access credit cards, it’s important to know the different lounge programs that you’ll typically encounter.

Complimentary Airport Lounge Access

Complimentary airport lounge access means, you are entitled for free access to specified airport lounge by the card issuer (banks).
